What are we looking for?
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in reaching out to new contacts. Experience in inside sales, outreach, or account management. Previous involvement with community football organisations or supporters’ groups is a bonus. Excellent written skills for preparing outreach materials, emails, and pitch decks. Organisational and time-management skills to balance multiple leads and follow-ups. Attention to detail and a proactive, self-starting attitude. A strategic thinker who can adapt messaging to different audiences and spot opportunities for collaboration. A passion for football and a genuine commitment to Fair Game’s values of sustainability, good governance, and equality. A willingness to learn, contribute ideas, and work collaboratively with a growing and dedicated team.
What will you be doing?
As a Volunteer Engagement Officer at Fair Game, you\’ll play a key role in expanding our network of affiliated football clubs. You’ll be responsible for identifying and reaching out to new clubs across the EFL and National League pyramid, helping them understand our vision and encouraging them to join our movement. You will Identify and research clubs not currently engaged with Fair Game. Initiate and manage outreach campaigns to grow our club network. Support the creation of compelling pitch materials such as partnership decks, FAQs, and letters. Collaborate with the Chief Engagement Officer and Deputy CEO to align efforts with strategic goals. Work closely with the wider engagement team to ensure clubs receive the best possible onboarding experience. You’ll report directly to the Chief Engagement Officer, but you’ll also have the opportunity to work with various team members across Fair Game. There is room for flexibility in how you contribute to the role. If you bring a specific strength or creative idea, we’re open to shaping the role to fit your skills and interests while remaining focused on our outreach goals.
