You\’ll ensure our partner clubs feel supported, valued, and aligned with our shared mission to reform football. By building strong relationships with clubs, you\’ll help Fair Game stay responsive and relevant to their needs, amplifying our collective voice for change. What are we looking for?
Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills. Strong written communication and attention to detail. Good organisational and time management abilities. Experience in stakeholder engagement or account management. Previous involvement with community clubs or supporters’ groups (a plus, not a must). Confident using email, spreadsheets, and basic digital tools. A collaborative and proactive mindset. A genuine passion for football and a belief in Fair Game’s values. Reliability and a willingness to commit time and energy to the role. A desire to contribute to meaningful, long-term change in football.
What will you be doing?
As a Volunteer Account Officer at Fair Game, you’ll play a key role in nurturing relationships with our partner football clubs and helping deliver exceptional support across the network. You’ll work closely with our Chief Engagement Officer and the wider engagement team, ensuring every club feels valued, heard, and supported. Your main responsibilities will include Acting as the main point of contact for a portfolio of Fair Game clubs. Managing ongoing communication and support to ensure strong engagement. Collaborating with Engagement Officers to smoothly onboard new clubs. Building relationships with key club stakeholders to align on shared goals. Supporting the evolution of our engagement strategy based on club feedback. Working alongside the Chief Engagement Officer and Deputy CEO on initiatives to improve the club experience. Ensuring any queries or needs from clubs are responded to quickly and professionally. Bringing ideas to improve our club support model – we welcome creativity and initiative. While we’ve outlined core tasks, there is some flexibility in how you contribute, depending on your interests and strengths. We\’re a collaborative team and open to volunteers shaping the role alongside us.
