We are looking to recruit a Service / Diagnostic Technician to take through to High Voltage Expert at our SEAT, CUPRA Dealership in Shrewsbury. The hours of work are 40 hours Monday to Friday. Our Service, Diagnostic and HVE Technicians are responsible for the servicing, repair and diagnostics of all Hybrid and Full Electric vehicles in the workshop, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standard first time. Our well-equipped and modern facilities provide a professional environment for our staff, whilst delivering a seamless service to our customers.
The Role
As a High Voltage Expert, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, repair and diagnosis of petrol, hybrid and fully electric vehicles, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to manufacturer standards, first time. Working within our modern, well-equipped workshop, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our customers while developing your technical expertise through ongoing manufacturer training.
Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out vehicle servicing, maintenance, repairs, advanced diagnostics and fault finding.
- Supporting the preparation and maintenance of new, used and courtesy vehicles.
- Working collaboratively with the workshop team, sharing knowledge and supporting continuous improvement.
- Following manufacturer procedures and maintaining the highest standards of workmanship and safety.
- Completing all documentation accurately and in line with company and manufacturer requirements.

About You
We welcome applications from Service Technicians with experience across all vehicle manufacturers. Whether you currently work in a main dealership, independent garage, fast-fit centre or car supermarket, we'd be delighted to hear from you. The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience as an Automotive Service Technician.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- High attention to detail and pride in delivering quality workmanship.
- A full UK driving licence.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to develop through ongoing manufacturer training.
