Full Job Description:
Due to continued business growth, we are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and co-ordinate our UK operations across a multi-location distribution network (Redditch, Reading,Glasgow). Reporting to the General Manager, this is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring operational excellence, inventory availability, logistics performance, customer service standards, and cross-functional collaboration to support our expanding customer base. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business and play a significant role in shaping the future success of our UK operation.
Key Responsibilities to include:
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring safety, quality, service, cost and delivery objectives are met
- Ensure Compliance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 27001 and ISO 14001
- Drive Operational excellence through performance management and continuous improvement
- Develop KPIs and management information to monitor performance
- Plan resources and workforce according to business needs
- Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement among the team members
- Support employee growth through coaching and mentoring
- Collaborate across departments to achieve business goals
- Identify operational risks and implement risk mitigation strategies
Skills and Experience Required :
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Operations, preferably within a distribution environment
- Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 regulations
- Working knowledge of ISO27001 and ISO14001 regulations
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Proven track record in developing operational teams and enhancing performance
- Working knowledge of ERP systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across multiple functions and levels of the organization
