About the job:
- Helping to maintain stock levels including accurate stock management and rotation.
- Receiving and unloading incoming deliveries/goods ordered from suppliers.
- Assisting with the compounding of unlicensed medicines.
- Ensuring that health and safety requirements are met.
- Dispensing prescriptions.
- Using computer systems to generate stock lists and labels.
- Liaising with the Procurement department to order items for use within the dispensary.
- Bringing any problems identified or queries raised to the attention of pharmacists or pharmacy technicians.
Set yourself apart:
- This is a role based in the pharmacy within the UK.
- Good communication skills.
- Current and valid UK right to work.
- Previous UK-registered pharmacy experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided, plus you will be required to study for and gain the NVQ level 2.
- Completion of the Pharmacy Services Assistant qualification NVQ level 2 (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
- The ability to read and carry out instructions.
- The ability to pay attention to detail.
