Passive Fire Estimator – GravesendFAFS Fire & Security specialise in designing, installing, commissioning and servicing automatic Fire Detection, Protection and Alarm Systems in and around Greater London. We are currently looking to appoint a new Trainee Service Administrator to be based out of our Head Office in Chessington, Surrey.FAFS Fire & Security\’s Passive Fire Estimator\’sSupport the Passive team by estimating remedial works from third party surveys, risk assessments, local authority letters, tender packages. As well as assembling quotations generated by our own surveying team.
- Log and keep track of inbound/outbound enquiries.
- Estimate remedial works projects of various values and sizes, considering the specific site conditions and requirements.
- Issue estimates, follow ups and update leads in a timely manner.
- Provide market leading customer service and advice by keeping up to date with the latest legislative guidance and manufacture technical information.
- Liaise with other departments and inter business companies.
- Make and receive customer phone calls.
- Respond to customer enquiries with market leading advice that ensures the most compliant and cost-effective solution.
- Build and maintain strong bonds with stakeholders, manufacturers, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Maintain a safe working environment in accordance with our Health and Safety system
- Liaise and handover to the projects team upon order acceptance.

- Ability to use a computer and complex programmes.
- A working knowledge of fire door and fire stopping systems.
- A working knowledge of BS476-22 and BS 8214.
