The predicted salary is between 12 - 16 £ per hour.

Duties:

  • Ensure production is adequately serviced/replenished with required materials such as pallets, cardboard boxes and bags.
  • Follow procedure to load and fill the wrap machine in preparation for wrapping.
  • Report any hazards/near misses to Warehouse Team Leader such as racking damage, equipment faults etc.
  • Regularly complete designated training and procedure updates.
  • Comply with all current Health & Safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain hygiene and housekeeping standards in the work area.
  • Adopt working practices to comply with Company and general health and safety requirements.
  • Communicate with team leaders and all other personnel as required, including external customer/supplier delivery drivers.
  • Any other duties as requested by the Team Leader or other Managers that are appropriate for your job role.

Av. 42 hrs a week, on a continental 4on-4off shift pattern rolling days (06:00 18:00) & nights (18:00 06:00). On occasion you may need to work additional hours to adapt to business needs. The hourly rate is £12.21 with a 25% shift allowance.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working as part of a team that works together, supporting each other to get the job done.

A valid Ride-On Stacker Truck licence but not essential as full training will be given.

Previous experience working within a yard/warehouse environment would be beneficial.

Competent IT User.

Good verbal communication skills.

Ability to take & follow instructions.
