Role Purpose
To fill silos with raw materials making sure the material is available when needed, make sure all bag transactions are completed, do quality checks when needed.
Run the IRD (infer red driers) according to SOP.
- Key Accountabilities
- Load bags into correct silos
- Test all inhouse nags for any contamination
- Do all transactions for bags used into M3
- Keep tipping and the yard around it clean, free of granules
- Bag bail all empty bags and plastic waste
- Remove metal detector waste daily and report to you superior if it is excessive
- Service the metal separators dust extraction daily, and report any faults to correct people
- Check and service silo air driers daily
- Monitor silo levels and report to supervisor if any find any issues
- Deal with silo deliveries making sure they go in correct silos and relevant paperwork gets taken to dispatch
- Run/assist extrusion with the IRD
- Change dust filters
- Monitor dust extraction unit and take waste bag off when needed
- Maintain accurate quality and production records and log details onto Faerch QMS
- Adopt working practices to comply with Company and general health and safety requirements
- Communicate with team leaders and all other personnel as required.
- Any other duties as requested by the Supervisor/Team Leader or other Managers that are appropriate for your job role.
- Working 4 on 4 off 12 hour rotating continental shifts (0600 - 1800/1800 - 0600)
