Fades Hair Studio & Training Academy is looking for an ambitious, organised and proactive Business Development & Operations Coordinator to join our expanding business. Working directly with the Director, you’ll play a key role in the day‑to‑day running and future growth of our barbershop and training academy.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare employment contracts and onboarding documents
- Manage HR administration and employee records
- Recruit barbers, apprentices, and staff
- Contact schools, colleges, and training providers to build partnerships and recruit students
- Arrange interviews, meetings, and appointments
- Respond to phone, email, and social media enquiries
- Manage bookings and customer communications
- Support payroll administration and compliance paperwork
- Organise academy documentation and student records
- Create and schedule social media content
- Assist with marketing and business development
- Build relationships with local businesses and organisations
- Provide general administrative and operational support to the Director
What We’re Looking For
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Friendly, professional and confident
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Previous experience in administration, recruitment, operations or customer service is preferred
- Social media and marketing experience is an advantage
