RGS Worcester are seeking to appoint highly motivated and inspirational Sports Coach to work closely with the Director of Sport and the Heads of Sports to develop and deliver exceptional sports programmes for pupils. The successful candidate will be expected to offer expertise in Cricket and at least one of our girls’ focus sports (Hockey and Netball) with a willingness to offer support and be upskilled in the third.
The successful candidate will work as part of the sports team under the direction of the Director of Sport and the Head of Cricket. This is an exciting opportunity to join our coaching team and build on recent sporting successes. You will be expected to be involved in pre-season training, sports tours, and our Open Mornings and partnership events for the local community.
In return, we provide opportunities to support or lead aspects of our Athletic Development Programme. A knowledge of Strength and Conditioning is an advantage, though a willingness to learn and be fully involved in this area is highly valued. We are open to both full-time and part-time applicants. Through negotiation, we would consider flexible working hours provided our core needs, namely afternoon Games, Clubs and Saturday fixtures, can be met.
