Sports Coach
We are looking to appoint a Sports Coach who will play a crucial role in coaching Sports at Wellingborough School. The post would suit those who have coached in a school setting and an ability to coach to all abilities would be preferable, but expertise in other areas will be considered. The selected candidate will also contribute to the management of school teams and the House sports program.
Throughout the academic year, the Sports Coach will guide one of our teams in their fixtures and may be called upon to umpire when necessary.
Start Date: 4th September 2025
Disclosure Level: Enhanced
Reporting to: Director of Sport and Head of Sport
Contract type: This is fixed term contract (Flexibility with regards to the duration of the fixed term contract is negotiable)
Objectives: To fulfil the sports coaching requirements as directed by the Director of Sport, according to the overall aims of the School.
Hours:. 11.5 hours per week, plus Saturday fixtures (flexibility in terms of hours will be negotiable)
Salary: From £20 to £25 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
