Seaford College seeks a Physical Education Teacher and Head of Girls' Cricket. This is an excellent opportunity for a well-qualified teacher of Physical Education to join the thriving and exciting Sports Department at Seaford College. You will be expected to teach PE across the Prep School, Senior School and Sixth Form. The successful candidate will be a passionate and highly skilled PE teacher and coach, dedicated to inspiring students of all abilities to reach their full potential in both academic and practical sport.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Seaford College are looking for a strong cricket coach but also have a strong ability to coach one or more of the school’s core team sports—Netball, Hockey, Cricket, or Athletics.
- The right candidate will develop and deliver an ambitious and progressive Girls’ Cricket programme across Seaford College.
- Leading the girls’ strand of the College’s year-round Cricket Performance Programme.
- To establish a clear pathway from participation to performance.
- Teaching Games and Academic PE.
- Contribution to the College’s Games programme and wider co-curricular life of the College is essential.
Start Dates and Application
- Closing date for applications: Friday 24 April 2026 although strong applicants may be invited for interview as soon as their applications are received.
- All applications are subject to satisfactory enhanced DBS, other checks and references.
- Start date - September 2026 or January 2027.
