Our Public Services Business Unit is committed to leveraging AI for the benefit of individual citizens and the public good. From our work informing strategic government decisions, to optimising our NHS, through to reducing bureaucratic backlogs – we know that AI offers opportunities to drive improvements at every level of Government and we are proud to lead on some of the most impactful work happening in the sector. Because of the nature of the work we do with our Government clients, you may need to be eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC) and willing to work on site with these clients from time to time.

We are expanding our product design capabilities to create groundbreaking, user‑centred solutions that align with our strategic business goals. As a Product Designer, you will design and optimise products that seamlessly blend intuitive user experiences with commercial objectives. You will be instrumental in designing visually compelling, accessible platforms, taking ownership of the design process to drive meaningful improvements.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to support end‑to‑end product design for a diverse range of public and private sector projects
  • Creating compelling user interfaces and seamless experiences that balance aesthetics with functional excellence
  • Planning and conducting user research to gather deep insights and ensure solutions drive real‑world value
  • Translating research findings and business requirements into effective, scalable design solutions
  • Iterating and validating designs based on user feedback and performance data to ensure high‑quality outcomes
  • Contributing to the development and evolution of design systems to maintain consistency across our product suite
  • Partnering closely with product managers and engineers to align design decisions with technical feasibility and strategic vision

Who we’re looking for:

You bring solid experience as a Product or UX Designer, with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions in a fast‑paced environment. You possess a versatile design toolkit, including proficiency in user research, journey mapping, prototyping, and usability testing. You are comfortable navigating the full product lifecycle, from initial discovery and problem definition through to final developer handover. You demonstrate strong UI design principles and proficiency in Figma, applying them to create products that are both functional and engaging. You thrive in collaborative environments, using an entrepreneurial and iterative mindset to solve complex problems alongside technical and commercial peers. You exhibit a product‑oriented mindset, with an understanding of B2B or data‑heavy products and a commitment to accessibility best practices.
