About the team: The Faculty FrontierTM product is our ambitious vision to create the first enterpriseâgrade platform that unifies decision intelligence with AI Agents to optimise realâworld outcomes of critical processes across largeâscale organisations. You will work on highly complex and consequential problems across the real economy, with particular focus on healthcare and life sciences.
About the role: Join the Frontier team to shape the future of our Decision Intelligence Platform by delivering AIâpowered digital twins that elevate organisational decisionâmaking. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will solve highly complex and consequential problems and help enterprise users interact with cuttingâedge AI. This is a unique, entrepreneurial role where you will drive real value by combining scientific rigor with a businessâfocused approach to advance our AI Agent and Decision Hub capabilities.
What youâll be doing:
- Designing and building agents in highâconsequence environments, where outputs need to be validated to a high standard.
- Performing exploratory data analysis, model building, validation, and performance monitoring.
- Leading data science efforts within crossâfunctional delivery teamsâpartnering with engineers, designers, and product leads for successful outcomes.
- Understanding deeply core customer problems to ensure technical solutions drive real value.
- Translating realâworld problems into technical strategies and measuring model impact with scientific rigor.
Who weâre looking for:
- You have seniorâlevel experience in data science or quantitative research.
- Youâre proficient in Python and essential libraries (NumPy, Pandas, scikitâlearn), plus familiarity with a deepâlearning framework (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- You possess a strong foundation in statistics and mathematics.
- Youâre experienced across the full data science toolkitâincluding supervised/unsupervised learning, timeâseries, Bayesian methods, and model validationâand can develop new algorithms when needed.
- You bring a leadership mindset centred on technical excellence, team growth, and a collaborative culture.
- You exhibit scientific rigor and a businessâfocused approach: translating problems into technical strategies and measuring model impact.
- Youâre productâoriented, deeply understanding user needs and how Frontier can deliver value to them.
- It would be great if you had experience building and evaluating agents using evalâdriven development (although not a mustâhave).
