At Faculty, we are transforming how organisations operate using AI, and you will be at the heart of this mission. You will orchestrate end-to-end bid processes, distilling technical brilliance into persuasive, customer-centric proposals. As a core role within our Central Sales function, you will drive revenue growth and refine the frameworks that empower Faculty to win and scale our global impact.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading the end-to-end bid lifecycle for high-value strategic opportunities, from initial kick-off through to final presentation. You're comfortable both writing and managing bids when needed.
- Driving critical Bid/No Bid evaluations and defining comprehensive resource requirements to ensure we pursue the right opportunities with excellence.
- Crafting high-quality, persuasive prose by synthesising intricate technical and commercial information into compelling value propositions.
- Collaborating with senior subject matter experts and C-suite stakeholders to align complex bid strategies with Faculty's broader commercial objectives.
- Optimising our bid operations by identifying process improvements and implementing best practices for framework management and tender monitoring.
- Mentoring junior bid managers and co-ordinators, fostering a culture of technical excellence, professional growth and continuous learning.
- Facilitating milestone meetings and managing client interactions to ensure clarity, alignment, and high-quality outcomes throughout the delivery phase.
Who we're looking for:
- You bring advanced experience in managing large-scale, complex bids within the private or public sectors, backed by a proven track record of success.
- You possess exceptional communication skills, with a flair for translating sophisticated AI concepts into clear, actionable, and persuasive narratives for diverse audiences.
- You are a natural relationship-builder, comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders to extract high-quality insights under tight deadlines.
- You exhibit a highly organised and proactive mindset, thriving in fast-paced environments where you can navigate multiple priorities with scientific rigour.
- You demonstrate strong commercial acumen and a strategic lens, allowing you to identify market opportunities and drive meaningful business growth.
- You lead with integrity and a collaborative spirit, enjoying the process of guiding team members and contributing to a high-performing, inclusive culture.
The Interview Process: Talent Team Screen (30 minutes), Introduction interview with Hiring Manager (45 mins), Written / Take Home Task, Final Panel Interview (60 mins).
Our Recruitment Ethos: We aim to grow the best team - not the most similar one. We know that diversity of individuals fosters diversity of thought, and that strengthens our principle of seeking truth. And we know from experience that diverse teams deliver better work, relevant to the world in which we live. We're united by a deep intellectual curiosity and desire to use our abilities for measurable positive impact. We strongly encourage applications from people of all backgrounds, ethnicities, genders, religions and sexual orientations.
If you don't feel you meet all the requirements, but are excited by the role and know you bring some key strengths, please don't hesitate in applying as you might be right for this role, or other roles. We are open to conversations about part-time hours.
A note on AI: we're happy for you to use it for research and interview prep, but please don't use it to generate answers during live interviews. We also use an AI note-taker (Metaview) in interviews so interviewers can stay present (which you can opt out of just let us know,) and every application is reviewed by a human, never decided by AI.
