About the team: Our National Security and AI Safety business unit is dedicated to advancing the responsible development and deployment of AI in support of national security and global stability. About the role: As a Customer Director at Faculty, you will serve as a trusted partner and strategic lead for the largest technology and lab clients, advancing the frontier of safe, trustworthy, and audit-ready AI systems. Blending deep technical credibility with delivery leadership, you will guide government bodies, Frontier labs, and high-impact organisations through complex AI safety, evaluation, and red-teaming challenges. You will own key client relationships, drive commercial strategy, and oversee multidisciplinary delivery teams to ensure cutting-edge AI deployments are secure, reliable, and grounded in real-world impact.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading strategic accounts across AI frontier labs, hyperscalers and government entities to build long-term partnerships focused on robust AI safety, evaluation, and red teaming.
- Designing transformation programmes that integrate advanced AI evaluation methodologies, auditing frameworks, and technical standards directly into mission-critical operations.
- Partnering with senior client leaders to translate complex safety, governance, and technical AI concepts into actionable strategy and impactful programmes.
- Overseeing delivery excellence across cross-functional teams of engineers, researchers, and delivery leads to ensure high-stakes projects succeed.
- Developing commercial strategies and proposals that expand our work across safety-critical domains while meeting ambitious growth goals.
- Championing thought leadership by sharing insights on AI safety frameworks, emerging risk evaluation, and industry standards with senior stakeholders.
