The Chief Accounts Clerk will coordinate finance administration services within the Faculty in order to contribute to the management of Faculty finances. This is a full‑time role (1.0 FTE).

Responsibilities
  • Receive and check up to 5,000 invoices and expense claims, and 700 UPS payment forms a year; raise up to 1,000 purchase orders and several hundred accounts receivable invoices a year.
  • Respond to queries from the full range of Faculty staff and report to budget holders on grant and non‑grant accounts.
  • Oversee and manage the activity to ensure consistent, professional service delivery and monitor all procedures to improve and streamline the team’s processes.
  • Support the Finance Coordinator, Deputy Finance Manager and Finance Manager by coordinating routine monthly reporting to PIs and budget holders across the Faculty.
  • Act as a key contact point for queries from budget holders and Department administrators.
Qualifications

The successful candidate will be educated to HND/HNC, level 4/5 vocational qualification or equivalent practical experience.
