FactTrace is moving from a breakthrough R&D phase into a high-impact growth cycle. Having built FactCore—a world-class AI fingerprinting engine designed for truth and verification—we are now transitioning to the "real world," with our first enterprise customers. We are looking for a Technical Operations & Delivery Lead to serve as the strategic engine of our team. While our technical leadership continues to push the boundaries of AI science, you will own the operational execution, professionalising our delivery rhythm and ensuring our infrastructure is as robust and scalable as the technology it supports.

What You Will Do

  • Architect the Delivery Rhythm: Take ownership of daily standups and sprint planning. You will be the bridge between high-level strategy and technical execution, turning complex goals into clear, actionable tasks that keep the engineering team focused and high-performing.
  • Professionalise our Foundation: Own the "operational health" of the company. You will implement and oversee critical systems—from automated database resilience and backups to enforcing security and managing vulnerability scanning.
  • Lead Customer Onboarding: Serve as the technical point of contact for our enterprise clients. You will navigate the procurement process, manage security questionnaires, and ensure our onboarding process meets the rigorous standards of global organisations.
  • Systems & Governance: Manage our technical stack (AWS, GitHub, GSuite) and vendor relationships. You will create the "water-tight" processes and governance required to ensure we are secure, compliant, and cost-effective as we scale.

The Right Background

  • Experience: You have 3–5 years in a technical role (Technical Consulting, or customer facing SRE or DevOps) and are ready to step into a leadership role with true operational ownership.
  • Technical Literacy: You are comfortable "under the hood" of AWS (IAM, S3, VPCs) and GitHub. You don't need to be a full-time coder, but you must be able to navigate and secure our infrastructure.
  • The "Translator": You possess high EQ and the ability to bridge communication gaps. You can synthesise input from deep-tech scientists, junior researchers, and business stakeholders into a single, cohesive direction.
  • The Finisher: You enjoy creating order in fast-paced environments. You are someone who finds satisfaction in building reliable processes and ensuring every project reaches professional completion.
