Your Team’s Impact: FactSet’s Deep Sector Energy group comprises teams of curious, highly driven individuals focused on solving complex challenges in the energy industry. We deliver critical, timely analysis of fundamental energy data to financial institutions, power developers, utilities, and other market participants through thoughtful products and customized analytics. We innovate to analyse what matters to the market today and in the future. Team members gain a unique perspective by advising and building products for influential participants across the energy ecosystem.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop, maintain, and analyse European power market datasets that inform client decisions.
  • Enhance our existing European power offering and build new datasets and written research to deliver a comprehensive regional suite.
  • Designing and implementing robust data pipelines and quality controls using Python and SQL.
  • Apply AI and agentic workflows to improve coverage, timeliness, and data integrity.
  • Monitor regulatory and market developments across Europe and translate them into data and analysis.
  • Proactive communication across time zones and close collaboration with internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Balance independent work and teamwork to deliver rigorous, time‑sensitive analysis and deliverables, grounded in a strong understanding of client use cases and how our data and analytics drive value.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 2–5 years of experience working with energy‑industry datasets, ideally in power markets.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python.
  • Strong attention to detail and writing skills.
  • Client‑first mindset, ownership mentality, and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactive nature, willingness to learn, and taking ownership of tasks.
