About the company: Factorytalk is a leading software implementation, development, and consulting company specialising in digitisation for life sciences manufacturers. We operate internationally between offices in the UK and Thailand, providing world-class digital solutions and consulting services. As a leading partner of Tulip Interfaces, Factorytalk supports multinational customers globally digitising their operations. Tulip is the leading Frontline Operations Platform, a cutting-edge no-code software platform recognised by The World Economic Forum, Gartner, Forester, Forbes and more. It enables the rapid building of connected digital apps to solve the most pressing challenges in manufacturing: error-proofing processes and boosting productivity, capturing and analyzing real-time data, and enabling continuous improvement.

Job Description: Join us in supporting the creation and deployment of next generation digital manufacturing solutions using the Tulip platform for Pharmaceutical and Biotech customers. This is groundbreaking work, reinventing the way life sciences manufacturers digitally transform using the very latest software tooling and methodologies. Openness to working in new ways with a flexible and creative mindset is key, as for most Pharma IT professionals this will be more agile and fast paced, and for people from non-regulated backgrounds work may require more structure and quality management. Work is delivered in tight collaborative teams with colleagues and customers, so a collaborative attitude and strong communications skills are essential.

We are delivering a wide range of projects at any given time of differing sizes and type. You will be responsible for managing a group of projects and workstreams. Projects are generally either solution delivery, solutions roll-outs, integration projects, or platform related works. Solution delivery involves managing a team of colleagues and customer stakeholders through business processes analysis, requirements capture, solution design, development, validation, and go-live support. Roll-outs are where we are scaling a solution globally, and the rest involve implementing expansions or improvements to the underlying software platform.

You will receive training on Tulip app delivery methods, attain certification and additional training on Factorytalk’s specialist App design, building, and validation methods. This will prepare you to excel by combining your project management skills with underlying knowledge of the Tulip software. You will also receive training in our project delivery methods to operate effectively internationally for some of the world’s largest companies.

The successful person will be extremely proactive, and a natural communicator and stakeholder manager, with a passion for detail and being the central coordinator people rely on day to day.

Must have requirements:

  • 2–5 years’ experience in managing some IT system/software development and/or implementation projects.
  • Good understanding of the manufacturing process execution, with a strong preference for experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of software delivery projects.
  • Experience of managing multiple projects at a time, ranging from small to large scale and critical systems.
  • Expertise in typical project management tools for task, cost, time and quality management.
  • Excellent communication and soft skills including the ability to work effectively with internal and customer project teams internationally.
  • You will be an organized person with an attention to detail and a passion for ensuring compliance to project processes.
  • You should have an interest in improving business processes through digitisation using software.
  • Fluent in English both written and verbal.
  • Flexible mindset and comfortable in a fast-changing environment.
  • A global perspective and comfortable working with diverse cultures.

Beneficial requirements:

  • The closest relevant experience would be MES / EBR, eQMS, LIMS, ERP or other systems for GMP regulated manufacturers.
  • Experience of different project delivery methodologies including waterfall and agile.
  • Experience of client account management.
  • Knowledge of Computer System Validation is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Become an expert in project management for No-Code Tulip projects for life-sciences manufacturers.
  • Manage projects across the lifecycle from initial enquiry through to go-live.
  • Create plans, estimates, presentations, reports and track progress.
  • Support resource planning and management in conjunction with project leaders.
  • Collaborate and work closely with delivery teams, customer stakeholders, and partner organizations.
  • Successfully deliver project activities through to completion.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a working knowledge of the Tulip product and solution delivery methodology.
  • Create and share documents and guidance on project management best practice.
  • Support the sales team process with new project opportunities.
  • Create and maintain project management documentation.
