Lead Digital Transformation in Life Sciences Manufacturing
Are you an experienced Project Manager looking to move beyond traditional IT delivery and into high-impact digital transformation? Factorytalk is looking for production, quality, or process engineers who want to move into digital manufacturing consulting, helping leading life sciences companies modernise their factory operations.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning complex projects, working with global stakeholders, and delivering real operational impact—not just IT systems.
The Role
As a Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of digital manufacturing solutions using the Tulip no-code platform, working closely with global life sciences customers. You will manage projects end-to-end—from early engagement through design, development, validation, and go-live—ensuring successful delivery across multiple workstreams. This role combines project leadership, stakeholder management, and exposure to cutting-edge manufacturing technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multiple projects across delivery, rollouts, and platform implementations
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers and stakeholders
- Plan, track, and manage scope, timelines, risks, and resources
- Drive workshops, project governance, and decision-making sessions
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (consultants, developers, client teams)
- Ensure delivery aligns with quality standards (including GxP where applicable)
- Support scaling of solutions across global manufacturing sites
Candidate Profile
Essential
- 3–7 years’ experience managing software delivery or implementation projects (e.g., enterprise applications, customer-facing systems, or digital solutions)
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience with project planning, tracking, and delivery governance
- Fluent in English
- Structured, detail-oriented, and proactive
Desirable
- Experience in pharma, biotech, or medical devices
- Exposure to MES, EBR, eQMS, LIMS, ERP, or similar systems
- Familiarity with GxP / Computer System Validation (CSV)
- Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall delivery
- Interest in digital manufacturing and operational improvement
