Private Client Solicitor / CILEX – Wills & Probate

I’m working with a growing Private Client team that is looking to add a talented Wills & Probate professional to its expanding division.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to join a supportive, growing team where there is genuine scope to develop their career and take on increasing responsibility.
The ideal candidate
We’re ideally looking for someone with 2–4 years’ PQE , although we’re also happy to consider candidates who have strong paralegal experience before qualifying or who are CILEX qualified .
You’ll ideally have experience in
- Managing your own caseload, taking client instructions and liaising with beneficiaries, HMRC and professional referrers
- Drafting Wills, including those incorporating trusts
- Preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Probate and estate administration
- Preparing and submitting IHT400 inheritance tax accounts
- Understanding inheritance tax rules and completing inheritance tax calculations
- Trust administration would be advantageous, although not essential
- Holding, or being willing to work towards, the STEP Diploma in Trusts and Estates
