I'm currently partnering with an innovative, venture-backed software company that is helping engineering teams build and ship higher-quality software at scale. We're looking for an experienced Account Manager to join their growing commercial team in London. This is a revenue-generating role focused on customer retention, expansion, and long-term account growth rather than new logo acquisition.
You'll inherit a portfolio of enterprise customers and be responsible for developing trusted relationships, driving adoption, managing renewals, and identifying opportunities to expand the partnership as customers grow.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing a portfolio of enterprise customers throughout the post-sales lifecycle
- Driving customer retention and achieving renewal targets
- Identifying and closing upsell and expansion opportunities
- Building relationships with senior technical and business stakeholders
- Working closely with Customer Success, Product, and Sales teams
- Monitoring account health and proactively managing risk
- Leading commercial discussions around contracts, pricing, and renewals
- Helping customers maximise value from the platform
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience in a quota-carrying Account Management role
- Strong track record of delivering renewal and expansion revenue
- Experience working within a B2B SaaS environment
- Ability to manage complex customer relationships and commercial negotiations
- Strong forecasting and pipeline management skills
- Comfortable engaging with technical stakeholders, including Engineering leaders and Architects
- Experience managing enterprise or strategic accounts
Nice to have:
- Experience selling developer tools, infrastructure, cloud, DevOps, platform, or highly technical software solutions
- Exposure to usage-based SaaS models
- Experience working in a fast-growth technology business
