A £1bn UK facilities group is appointing a Group Sales Director to shape the next chapter of its growth — with a defined pathway to Managing Director within 24–36 months. The business is established, profitable and ambitious. It operates at scale across the UK delivering integrated facilities management solutions, including technical and engineering-led services. The next phase requires a commercially sophisticated leader who understands how to win, structure and scale complex FM contracts at national level.

The Mandate

  • Own group revenue strategy across integrated and technical FM
  • Lead national sales and commercial teams
  • Drive structured growth across public and private sector markets
  • Shape bid governance, pricing strategy and risk framework
  • Engage at Board level with full visibility of P&L impact
  • Play a central role in strategic planning ahead of MD transition

This is about building enterprise value, not just pipeline.

What We’re Looking For

  • You must currently be operating at senior sales/commercial leadership level within facilities management.
  • Proven track record winning large-scale FM or technical services contracts
  • Deep understanding of hard FM / technical services delivery models
  • Experience leading national sales functions
  • Commercially credible at C-suite level
  • Comfortable operating in a £500m+ turnover environment
  • Strategic thinker who understands margin, risk, and long-term contract structuring
  • This is not suited to someone outside FM, and not a step-up role from regional sales.
  • We are looking for someone already operating at enterprise level.
