At Factbird, we’re redefining how manufacturing runs. By combining hardware, firmware, cloud, and AI, we turn raw production data into real, measurable impact on factory floors around the world.
This is a high‑impact, hands‑on product role at the core of Factbird’s growth. As our AI Product Manager, you’ll define the AI product vision, own the roadmap, and drive execution from idea to launch — and beyond. You’ll work closely with AI engineers, firmware teams, cloud architects, and product leaders to connect advanced AI with physical production environments. Reporting to the Head of Product, you’ll play a key role in shaping how our platform scales and how our customers succeed.
This role is based in Copenhagen, Denmark, where you will work closely with our product and engineering teams. If you’re currently based elsewhere, we offer relocation support for the right candidate and will help make your move as smooth as possible.
Key Responsibilities- Set the AI direction: Own and drive the AI product vision — focusing on solving real production bottlenecks and delivering measurable customer value.
- Turn strategy into shipped product: Define roadmaps, prioritize ruthlessly, and work closely with engineering teams to bring AI‑driven features to life.
- Build strong data foundations: Partner with data engineers to identify the right data sources, ensure data quality, and create reliable pipelines for training and improving models.
- Lead across disciplines: Act as the glue between AI, firmware, cloud, UX, and business stakeholders — making sure everyone is aligned, focused, and moving fast.
- Own performance & outcomes: Define and track model performance metrics and business KPIs to ensure AI features perform reliably in real production conditions.
- Launch, learn, iterate: Drive product launches, gather customer feedback, and continuously evolve AI features based on real‑world usage.
- End‑to‑end product ownership: Manage AI‑driven products throughout their full lifecycle, tightly connected to the hardware and firmware that power them.
You’re a builder. You thrive in scale‑up environments where ownership is high, pace is fast, and impact is visible. You’re comfortable making decisions with imperfect information and love turning complexity into clarity. You care about AI — but you care even more about what it enables. You want to build products that customers depend on, not just talk about innovation.
Requirements- Experience from manufacturing or industrial environments: You understand production realities and can translate factory‑floor challenges into scalable digital products.
- Strong AI/ML foundation: You can confidently discuss machine learning concepts, model limitations, and trade‑offs — and you’ve helped bring AI solutions into production.
- Data‑driven mindset: Comfortable working with data (SQL, Python) and understanding how data quality, drift, and pipelines impact model performance.
- Product management experience: 3+ years in product management, ideally within SaaS, industrial tech, or production‑focused products.
- Experiment‑first mentality: You validate ideas through MVPs, experimentation, and iteration — and know when to scale what works.
- Business‑oriented thinking: You can connect AI initiatives to ROI, cost savings, and growth, and use that insight to drive prioritization.
People are at the heart of everything we build. We believe great products come from empowered teams — and we work hard to create an environment where you can do your best work and have space for life beyond it.
- Flexible working hours: We trust you to manage your time. Life isn’t one‑size‑fits‑all, and neither is work.
- Competitive salary: We offer compensation that reflects your skills, experience, and impact.
- Internet reimbursement: Stay connected and productive, wherever you choose to work from.
- Thoughtful, human onboarding: We’ll support you step by step, giving you the context, tools, and guidance you need to feel confident from day one.
- A career path that grows with you: Through bi‑yearly Individual Development Plan conversations, we’ll work together to shape a career journey that fits your ambitions.
- Company‑wide kickoffs & team days: We regularly come together across teams and regions to connect, celebrate, and align on what’s next.
- A global, inclusive culture: We’re proud of our diverse backgrounds and perspectives — and we actively celebrate them in how we work and collaborate.
If this role feels like a match, we’d be excited to hear from you and explore how you could help shape the future of data collection and production monitoring at Factbird. If someone in your network comes to mind who might be a great fit — feel free to share this opportunity with them.
