To support the execution of Digital Building Readiness Surveys (DBRS), we are looking for ambitious professionals ready for an adventure. Representing FPC in all client and partner interactions, the Digital Buildings Field Auditor/Analyst must maintain high standards of technical and professional performance, and conduct themselves with unwavering honesty and integrity at all times. The role has an initial focus on audit programs to become a specialist in building evaluations. From there, the career growth opportunities are diverse with a specific development plan leading to new construction development projects, progressing to a Digital Building Consultant or a Specialist Technology Consultant.
Key Responsibilities- Build foundational knowledge of Digital Building technologies and industry trends.
- Engage with internal training, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Develop a growing understanding of FPC's service offerings and client sectors.
- Contribute to improving project delivery processes, tools, and frameworks.
- Support lessons learned, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Support the team in delivering Digital Building consulting services.
- Carry out research and technical analysis to inform project work.
- Conduct non-intrusive on-site physical building inspections and remote network discoveries to identify all IP-capable IoT/OT devices and control systems (BMS, HVAC, Lighting, EMS).
- Map exact physical device locations on building floor plans and compile comprehensive site photographic registers.
- Interview local facility management teams and sub-contractors on-site to document localized network architecture and configuration parameters.
- Promptly elevate any critical operational or cybersecurity risks identified during field deployment to senior technical governance teams.
- Deliver defined tasks and workstreams under the direction of senior team members.
- Own and accurately populate Digital Building Device Registers and draft DBRS Executive Summaries with zero data gaps.
- Facilitate site-level audit logistics through supervised engagement with local contacts to organize building access, security credentials, and initial survey scheduling.
- Support project teams reliably across multiple concurrent assignments.
- Support senior consultants in client-facing activities under supervision.
- Prepare data, analysis, and materials to support client deliverables.
- Conduct yourself professionally in all interactions with clients and stakeholders.
- Support proposals with research and background data.
- Prepare data and analysis to support business development activities.
- Assist with bid preparation activities as directed.
- Foundational understanding of building systems, BMS, controls, or IoT technologies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to produce accurate, well-structured reports.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to conduct extensive building walkthroughs and actively manage a travel schedule across the EMEA region (up to 50-60%).
- Strong cross-cultural communication skills to interact professionally with local site facilities technicians, asset managers, and corporate stakeholders.
- Professional-level English language skills (written and spoken).
- Good exposure to Digital Building technologies, BMS, or IT/IoT systems.
- Familiarity with design or documentation tools such as AutoCAD or Visio to a core asset; ability to work with system architecture drawings, high-level network topologies, annotating floor plans.
- Basic understanding of network fundamentals (e.g., distinguishing private building networks from corporate IT networks, basic understanding of IP addressing, switches, and routers).
