We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team on a highly secure and prestigious site in London. This is a rare opportunity for a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work within a flagship, high-profile environment where professionalism, reliability, and technical excellence are essential.
This is a Monday to Friday role (08:00 – 17:00) offering stability, a structured environment, and the chance to work on a technically diverse building services portfolio.
The Role
As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a complex building services environment. Although electrically biased, this position requires strong all-round building services knowledge.
Your duties will include:
- Electrical PPMs and reactive maintenance
- Emergency lighting testing and lamping
- UPS and generator inspections and routine checks
- HVAC maintenance including:
- AHUs
- FCUs
- VAV systems
- Compressors and condensers
This Electrical Maintenance Engineer role requires someone confident working independently within a high-security environment while maintaining exceptional standards.
Requirements
To be considered for this Electrical Maintenance Engineer position, you must have:
- Fully qualified electrician (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Proven experience as a building services Electrical Maintenance Engineer
- Strong knowledge of commercial plant and HVAC systems listed above
- Experience working in critical or high-end environments (desirable)
- Strong fault-finding ability
- Professional, presentable, and client-facing manner
Security Clearance Requirement
Due to the nature of the site, the successful Electrical Maintenance Engineer must:
- Be eligible to pass high-level security clearance
- Have 10 years unbroken UK residency (essential)
