We are currently recruiting for an experienced Building Service Maintenance Engineer to work on a static commercial building services contract based in Cambridge. The role is based at a prestigious government facility and involves planned and reactive maintenance across electrical and HVAC systems.
Responsibilities
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
- Maintenance of AHUs, FCUs and associated HVAC plant
- Electrical fault finding, testing and repair within commercial buildings
- Emergency light testing
- Basic plumbing
- Maintenance of building services electrical systems
- Ensure compliance with health and safety and site procedures
- Completion of maintenance logs and statutory documentation
Essential Requirements
- Fully electrically qualified (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) or Mechanical
- Proven experience as a Building Services Engineer (essential)
- Strong commercial building services maintenance background
- Experience working on HVAC plant including AHUs and FCUs
- Minimum 10-year UK employment and residency footprint
- Clean criminal record (security clearance required)
- Not colour blind
- Full UK driving licence (company van provided due to site size)

- Salary: Β£47,000 per annum
- Monday to Friday, daytime hours only
