We are currently recruiting for an experienced Building Service Maintenance Engineer to work on a static commercial building services contract based in Cambridge. The role is based at a prestigious government facility and involves planned and reactive maintenance across electrical and HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

  • Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
  • Maintenance of AHUs, FCUs and associated HVAC plant
  • Electrical fault finding, testing and repair within commercial buildings
  • Emergency light testing
  • Basic plumbing
  • Maintenance of building services electrical systems
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety and site procedures
  • Completion of maintenance logs and statutory documentation

Essential Requirements

  • Fully electrically qualified (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) or Mechanical
  • Proven experience as a Building Services Engineer (essential)
  • Strong commercial building services maintenance background
  • Experience working on HVAC plant including AHUs and FCUs
  • Minimum 10-year UK employment and residency footprint
  • Clean criminal record (security clearance required)
  • Not colour blind
  • Full UK driving licence (company van provided due to site size)
