Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Electrical Bias

Monday - Thursday days plus one weekend day

Based in the City of London

Full time position. Up to £49K per annum plus £4k on call supplement

This position includes an on call.

Job Outline:

  • Carrying out routine scheduled maintenance work and responding to equipment faults.
  • Diagnosing breakdown problems.
  • Fitting new parts and making sure equipment is working correctly.
  • Electrical installations and fault finding.
  • Carrying out quality inspections on jobs and subcontractor supervision and issuing permits.
  • Liaising with client departments, and supply partners.
  • Reporting to the Technical Manager and liaising on tasks.
  • Dealing with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs.
  • Improving health and safety policies and procedures in line with company guidelines.
  • Client-facing role requires strong customer service skills.
  • Efficiency and organisation skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills (Emails, Job sheets, PDA usage).
  • General handyman activities and skillset building desks, putting up notice boards, unblocking toilets and drains etc.
  • Upkeep of site logbooks, E-logbooks and compliance documentation.
  • Daily liaising with clients, Technical Manager and Facilities Manager.
  • Assisting Technical Manager and Facilities Manager with internal and external audits.
  • Ad hoc duties as and when requested by either the Technical Manager or clients.

Education: Certificate of Higher Education (required)

Experience: Electrical: 3 years (required)
