Established in 2005, we are a Cheshire based family-owned commercial heating company providing services to a range of sectors including hotels, gyms, schools, universities, factories, warehouses, offices and residential developments.

*The Role*

Due to continued growth, we're looking for a practical, mechanically minded, experienced *Commercial Gas Engineer/* *to join our expanding team of field engineers. /*_You must already hold your commercial gas qualification._

The role combines commercial heating installation projects with planned preventative maintenance, servicing and reactive breakdown work.

If you enjoy fault finding, problem solving and working across a wide variety of commercial buildings, this could be the perfect opportunity.

We’re based in Cheshire and looking for someone who is based in or around the Halton/Warrington area and can travel to client locations across the UK.

Travel throughout the UK is part of the role, with occasional overnight stays (fully funded by the company)

As we continue to grow, there will be opportunities to develop into senior engineer, project delivery and supervisory roles.

  • *Key Responsibilities *
  • Planned preventative maintenance of commercial heating and hot water systems.
  • Diagnose and repair faults on commercial heating equipment.
  • Carry out commercial heating installation and upgrades.
  • Commission new installations and complete testing and handover.
  • Complete maintenance audits and identify defects.
  • Produce digital service reports and recommendations.
  • Ensure plant rooms remain safe, compliant and well maintained.
  • Participate in the engineer on-call rota (additional to salary)
  • *What We're Looking For (essential) *
  • Current commercial gas qualifications with at least two years' experience working on commercial heating systems * Reliable, disciplined and with excellent problem solving and communications skills. * City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 & 3.

Gas Safe 2 years. * Experience maintaining commercial mechanical systems such as pumps, expansion vessels, pressurisation units, valves, pipework, heating systems or plant room equipment.

  • Ability to identify maintenance issues and recommend solutions.
  • Comfortable producing digital reports.
  • Strong organisational and reporting skills.
  • Reliable team player and ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • *Desirable Qualifications (not essential)*
  • LPG, OFTEC, IPAF and PASMA would be an advantage, but not essential.

  • Salary of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum. Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
