Facilities by ADF have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Technician to join the team.

Location: Longcross, Surrey, KT16 0EF

Salary: Base Salary of £34,840 PA with a competitive benefits package

Hours: 45 Hour Week (Inc. paid breaks) 0830 – 1730

About Us: Facilities by ADF plc provides serviced vehicle hire for television and film productions in the UK and Europe, specialising in on-location support for dramas and major features. The company has big development plans due to the continued growth of the Film and TV industry and company acquisition.

Maintenance Technician - The Role:

You will be responsible for the interior and exterior maintenance of bespoke vehicle and trailer conversions used on major film and TV productions. Your day-to-day work will include fault diagnosis and rectification, winterisation and habitation services, damp testing, kitchen and bathroom fitting, plumbing work, and general vehicle modifications. You will work to precise vehicle build specifications in a fast-paced, dynamic environment supporting the needs of production teams.

Maintenance Technician – Main Duties:

  • Interior Maintenance of bespoke vehicle & trailer conversions
  • Exterior Maintenance of bespoke vehicle & trailer conversions
  • Winterisation / Habitation service
  • Fault Diagnosis & rectification
  • Damp testing
  • Kitchen, bathroom and bedroom fitting and plumbing
  • General modifications to original vehicle
  • Work to vehicle build specifications

Maintenance Technician – Requirements:

  • Must be able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Be familiar with using power tools
  • Must be able to deliver consistently under pressure
  • Great attention to detail
  • Team player
  • Possess a range of skills and knowledge associated with the fabrication and manufacture of commercial vehicle bodywork (desirable)
