About Us:
Facilities by ADF plc provides serviced vehicle hire for television and film productions in the UK and Europe, specialising in on-location support for dramas and major features. The group includes Location One (Integrated end to end shoot support) and Autotrak Portable Roadways (temporary access equipment hire). This role is to provide HR Support to Location One and Autotrak, and holiday cover for ADF.

The Role:
As HR Adviser, you will provide professional and proactive HR support across multiple sites, based primarily at Longcross, Surrey with regular travel to other locations including one day per week at Kidlington, Oxford. You will partner with managers to deliver effective people solutions, ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies, and support the achievement of organisational objectives. You will work within a small HR team to ensure consistency in approach and documentation.
HR Advisor -
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide HR advice and support to line managers on people management activities including absence management and performance management - Advise managers on employee relations issues including performance, conduct, long-term sickness and grievances - Attend disciplinary and grievance hearings as note taker and company witness - Manage job vacancies, post roles on job boards and coordinate interviews with hiring managers - Coordinate new starter information and verify Right to Work in the UK - Maintain employee data on the HR database and provide monthly HR statistics to the Head of HR - Maintain training records for all employees including Health and Safety training - Propose and support employee wellbeing and engagement activities and events - Participate in company projects as required
HR Advisor -
You:
- CIPD Level 5 qualification (or working towards) - Minimum 3 years' experience in a generalist HR role - Full UK Driving Licence - Professional and Approachable - Discreet and Trustworthy - Strong attention to detail - Excellent organisational skills - Ability to remain positive when working under pressure - Ability to work on own initiative - Experience of working across several sites/businesses (desirable) - Experience of the implementation of HR and Payroll systems (desirable)
