About Us: Facilities by ADF plc provides serviced vehicle hire for television and film productions in the UK and Europe, specialising in on-location support for dramas and major features. The group includes Location One (Integrated end to end shoot support) and Autotrak Portable Roadways (temporary access equipment hire). This role is to provide HR Support to Location One and Autotrak, and holiday cover for ADF.
Main Responsibilities:
- To provide professional, proactive, and customer-focused HR advice and support across multiple sites.
- The HR Advisor will partner with managers to deliver effective people solutions, ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies, and contribute to the achievement of organisational objectives.
- Support Line Managers with people management activities (absence management, performance management).
- Provide advice and guidance to managers regarding Employee Relations issues (Performance, Conduct, Long Term Sickness, Grievances).
- Attend disciplinary/grievance hearings as note taker and company witness.
- Be responsible for the posting of new job vacancies and refreshing of current job vacancies via online job boards.
- Manage applications and liaise with the relevant Hiring Managers to co-ordinate interviews/follow up etc.
- Propose, participate and support Employee Wellbeing and Engagement activities and events.
- Co-ordinate new starter information and ensure compliance with Right to Work in the UK.
- Input and maintenance of employee data on the HR database.
- Provide monthly HR statistics to the Head of HR.
- Maintain Training Records for all employees including Health and Safety Training.
- Participate in company projects as required.
- Work closely with a small HR team to ensure consistency in approach/documentation.
You:
- CIPD Level 5 qualification (or working towards).
- Minimum 3 years experience in a generalist HR role.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Professional and Approachable.
- Discreet and Trustworthy.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to remain positive when working under pressure.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Experience of working across several sites/businesses (desirable).
- Experience of the implementation of HR and Payroll systems (desirable).
