About Us: Facilities by ADF plc provides serviced vehicle hire for television and film productions in the UK and Europe, specialising in on-location support for dramas and major features. The group includes Location One (Integrated end to end shoot support) and Autotrak Portable Roadways (temporary access equipment hire) and the role would be working across all three companies to ensure an aligned approach.
Health and Safety Manager - The Role: The Group Health & Safety Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing health and safety strategies across all business units. The role ensures compliance with legal requirements, promotes a strong safety culture, and drives continuous improvement in health, safety, and wellbeing performance across the organization.
Health and Safety Manager - Main Responsibilities:
- Act as Group Health and Safety Representative, devising and implementing Health & Safety procedures, Risk Assessments and policies
- Work alongside H&S Consultancy firm to embed H&S principles across the company
- Cascade policies and Risk assessments to H&S Champions/Managers to implement in their teams.
- Set up and chair H&S Committee meetings
- Regular audit of company H&S processes and procedures, advising of best practice amendments to the Senior Management Team
- Oversee risk assessments, method statements, and safe systems of work
- Monitor and analyse incident, accident, and near-miss data
- Lead investigations into serious incidents and ensure corrective actions are implemented
- Identify and implement H&S synergies and best practice across the group
- Track KPIs related to safety performance
- Oversee the provision of Personal Protective Equipment and Uniform
- Co-ordinate H&S training across the group
- Regularly Review H&S Training providers for most cost-effective solutions and present to SMT/COO for approval
Health and Safety Manager - Essential requirements:
- NEBOSH qualified
- Strong management and influencing skills
- Project Management experience
- Experience of providing exceptional customer service to client group
- IT literate
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
