We are currently looking for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer / HVAC Engineer to join a leading Facilities Management provider, working across a major UK supermarket contract in the Birmingham area. This is a mobile role covering a number of retail sites, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of commercial heating, mechanical and HVAC equipment.

The Role

  • Carring out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works across multiple sites
  • Servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial boilers and heating systems
  • Working on mechanical equipment including AHUs, FCUs, pumps and fans
  • Fault finding and diagnosing issues with plant and equipment
  • Completing minor alterations and installations within your technical competence
  • Identifying non-repairable faults and recommending suitable replacement equipment
  • Ordering parts and spares when required
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations and company procedures

What We're Looking For

  • Experienced Commercial Gas Engineer / HVAC Engineer
  • Relevant Commercial Gas qualifications
  • Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience
  • Experience working with commercial boilers and associated mechanical plant
  • Previous Facilities Management or mobile maintenance experience would be beneficial
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Comfortable working across multiple sites within the Birmingham area
