We are currently looking for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer / HVAC Engineer to join a leading Facilities Management provider, working across a major UK supermarket contract in the Birmingham area. This is a mobile role covering a number of retail sites, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of commercial heating, mechanical and HVAC equipment.
The Role
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works across multiple sites
- Servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial boilers and heating systems
- Working on mechanical equipment including AHUs, FCUs, pumps and fans
- Fault finding and diagnosing issues with plant and equipment
- Completing minor alterations and installations within your technical competence
- Identifying non-repairable faults and recommending suitable replacement equipment
- Ordering parts and spares when required
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations and company procedures
What We're Looking For
- Experienced Commercial Gas Engineer / HVAC Engineer
- Relevant Commercial Gas qualifications
- Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience
- Experience working with commercial boilers and associated mechanical plant
- Previous Facilities Management or mobile maintenance experience would be beneficial
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Comfortable working across multiple sites within the Birmingham area
