Are you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for a stable Monday to Friday role with a leading facilities management company? We're recruiting for an Electrical Engineer to join a busy commercial site in Leeds, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a wide range of electrical building services.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for maintaining the electrical infrastructure of a prestigious commercial site, ensuring all systems remain safe, compliant, and fully operational. Working as part of an established engineering team, you’ll deliver high-quality maintenance while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
  • Responding to reactive electrical maintenance tasks
  • Fault finding and repairs on electrical systems
  • Maintenance of lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting, fire alarms, and associated building services
  • Completing maintenance records using a CAFM system
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and statutory regulations
  • Supporting general building services maintenance when required

About You

  • NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical Installation or Electrical Maintenance
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Experience within commercial building maintenance or facilities management
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
