Commercial Gas Engineer – Mobile

Location: Peterborough (Mobile Role)

We’re recruiting for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a well-established facilities management company, working on a commercial supermarket contract across Peterborough and the surrounding areas.

The Role

As a Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance, servicing, and repair of commercial gas systems across a portfolio of supermarket sites. You will ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with current regulations while delivering excellent service to the client.

Key Responsibilities

• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Reactive maintenance and fault finding
• Servicing and repairing commercial gas appliances and plant
• Completing compliance paperwork and reports
• Ensuring high standards of health and safety
• Building strong relationships with the client

Requirements

• Commercial Gas qualifications (COCN1 or CODNCO1 and relevant commercial gas modules)
• Experience working within commercial buildings or retail environments
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
