We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our team at a prestigious site in Canary Wharf, London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong engineer looking to work within one of London's key business districts, carrying out a varied range of hard FM duties across a complex and high-profile environment.
What will you deliver?
- As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will be responsible for the safe and effective operation, maintenance and repair of critical building services.
- Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining, operating and repairing HVAC, electrical and mechanical systems
- Supporting fire safety and water treatment systems
- Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works
- Ensuring all works are completed within agreed SLAs and compliance requirements
- Carrying out fault finding and technical problem solving
- Completing risk assessments, permits to work and compliance documentation
- Working closely with customers, colleagues and subcontractors
- Using CAFM systems to manage and update tasks
- Supporting technical quotations and chargeable works
- Providing a professional and customer-focused service at all times
- Working flexibly across different disciplines and supporting the wider engineering team when required
What are we looking for?
- The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience working as a Multi-Skilled Engineer / Building Services Engineer
- A strong background in electrical and/or mechanical engineering
- Experience within a commercial, critical or high-profile building environment
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
- Strong understanding of PPM and reactive maintenance
- Good knowledge of health & safety and compliance procedures
- Experience using CAFM systems; Planon knowledge would be advantageous
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A flexible, proactive can-do attitude
- Willingness to work a complex day and night shift pattern
