Mobile Mechanical Engineer Location: Manchester / North West Salary: £45,000 + Company Van + Benefits Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile Mechanical Engineer to join a leading facilities management business, predominantly covering a key commercial contract in Manchester. This position would suit an experienced mechanical building services engineer looking for a secure mobile role with a strong salary package, company van and minimal on-call requirements. The Role You will carry out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance across a portfolio of commercial properties, including offices, business parks and industrial units. Responsibilities will include: * Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) * Reactive mechanical maintenance * Fault finding and repairs * AHU maintenance * HVAC plant and equipment * Plumbing maintenance and repairs * Hot and cold water systems * Pumps and valves * General mechanical plant maintenance * Completing relevant compliance and maintenance documentation The majority of the work will be based around Manchester, with occasional travel to other sites across the North West and into the Midlands, including Derby. What We're Looking For * Strong mechanical/building services maintenance background * Experience maintaining AHUs and HVAC systems * Good plumbing knowledge * Experience with hot and cold water systems * Commercial facilities management experience * Strong fault-finding ability * Full UK driving licence * Happy with occasional travel into the Midlands Experience or additional qualifications within Air Conditioning, F-Gas or Commercial Gas would be highly beneficial but are not essential. Salary & Benefits * £45,000 basic salary * Company van * 23 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays * Company pension * Additional company benefits * Very limited on-call requirements * Permanent, long-term opportunity Engineers based around Manchester or South Manchester would be particularly well positioned for the role.
