We're looking for a Lead AC Engineer to join a growing business, taking the lead on installations, maintenance and small teams while remaining heavily hands‑on.
This role is ideal for a Senior Engineer who enjoys mentoring others and wants more responsibility without moving into a fully office‑based position.
The Role
- Lead commercial AC installation and maintenance projects
- Provide technical support and guidance to engineers on site
- Supervise small teams and ensure work is completed to a high standard
- Carry out site surveys for quoted works
- Support the operational and commercial teams where required
- Remain hands‑on, with approximately 60–80% of your time spent on the tools
- Participate in a 1 in 7 call‑out rota
Package
- Travel scheme worth approximately £10,000
- Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
- Optional overtime paid at 1.5x

- Parking expenses covered
- 23 days holiday plus bank holidays

- £150 standby payment for the call‑out rota
Requirements
- Strong background in commercial air conditioning installation and maintenance
