An exciting opportunity has arisen for an M&E Supervisor (Electrical Bias) to join a well-established Facilities Management team based in Liverpool. This role is ideal for an experienced Electrical Engineer or Supervisor who enjoys leading teams, ensuring high service standards, and delivering maintenance within a fast-paced operational environment.
The Role
As an M&E Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising a team of engineers and ensuring all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with service level agreements. You will play a key role in maintaining high operational standards, supporting compliance requirements, and ensuring excellent service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage a team of static and mobile engineers
- Ensure PPM and reactive maintenance tasks are completed safely and on time
- Allocate work and monitor performance to meet KPIs and SLAs
- Manage materials, subcontractors, and maintenance records
- Maintain accurate job information using a CAFM system
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and statutory regulations
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure high levels of client satisfaction
- Support reporting and operational activities alongside management teams
- Participate in on-call and emergency support where required
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical qualification
- AM2 certification
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Previous experience supervising engineers
- Strong background in Facilities Management or Building Services
- Experience using CAFM systems
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
- Ability to work to deadlines and manage workload effectively
- Full UK Driving Licence
