We're recruiting for a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer (HVAC) to join a well-established business delivering maintenance services across a major UK supermarket contract. The Role
Covering retail sites across the Telford area, you'll carry out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on a range of commercial heating and HVAC equipment. Typical duties include:
- Servicing and repairing commercial gas systems
- Maintaining boilers, pumps, fans, AHUs and FCUs
- Fault finding and reactive breakdown repairs
- Carrying out planned maintenance and inspections
- Minor mechanical installations and alterations
- Identifying non-repairable faults and recommending replacements
- Ordering replacement parts where required
- Providing excellent customer service across multiple sites
What You'll Need
Essential
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heating, Mechanical or HVAC
- Current Commercial Gas ACS qualifications including:
- COCN
- CIGA
- CORT
- ICPN
- CDGA
- TPCP1/1A
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Previous experience within commercial building maintenance or retail environments
Desirable
- Domestic ACS qualifications
- F-Gas Category 1
- 18th Edition
- Experience using handheld/PDA systems
You'll also be happy to participate in a 1 in 4 on-call rota.
