Facilitate Search is proud to be recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Static Site Supervisor to join a critical facilities team at a state-of-the-art pharmaceutical innovation and technology centre in Harwell. This high-spec site includes clean rooms, laboratories, offices, and plant rooms, and is a key location for the research, development, and manufacture of pharmaceutical products. Maintaining high levels of compliance and reliability particularly around HVAC systems and cleanroom environments is central to the success of this role.

As Static Site Supervisor, you will manage a team of engineers, ensure statutory compliance, and act as the primary onsite contact for the client, ensuring services are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the engineering team, ensuring all planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks are completed to specification and within deadlines.
  • Maintain a strong working relationship with the client, responding to requests and resolving issues quickly and professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory, contractual, and safety requirements across site systems and infrastructure.
  • Supervise subcontractors, coordinate works, and ensure all activities meet quality and safety standards.
  • Manage documentation and reporting through CAFM systems in real time, including accurate logging of job details and follow-up actions.
  • Perform audits, manage remedial works, and participate in client meetings to close out actions and provide updates.
  • Diagnose plant faults and perform or arrange swift corrective actions, particularly in critical HVAC and electrical systems.
  • Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota to provide emergency response support as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

  • City & Guilds or equivalent in Electrical Engineering (required)
  • 2391 Electrical Inspection & Testing qualification
  • BS7671 18th Edition certification
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
  • Mechanical qualifications (desirable)
  • Experience leading engineering teams
  • Background in pharmaceutical, cleanroom, or process-critical environments
  • Strong understanding of building services (M&E)
