We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a well-established team in the Cambridge area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a stable role with variety and long-term progression.
Role
- You’ll be responsible for delivering both planned and reactive electrical maintenance, ensuring all systems and plant equipment remain safe, compliant, and fully operational.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Respond to breakdowns and complete reactive repairs
- Diagnose faults and carry out remedial works
- Maintain accurate records and update CAFM systems
- Prepare risk assessments and method statements
- Work within permit-to-work systems and safe procedures
- Support and oversee subcontractors where required
Qualifications
- Proven experience in electrical maintenance
- Strong knowledge of BS7671
- Experience in commercial or multi-site environments
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Good communication and organisational skills
