We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a well-established team in the Cambridge area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a stable role with variety and long-term progression.

Role

  • You’ll be responsible for delivering both planned and reactive electrical maintenance, ensuring all systems and plant equipment remain safe, compliant, and fully operational.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
  • Respond to breakdowns and complete reactive repairs
  • Diagnose faults and carry out remedial works
  • Maintain accurate records and update CAFM systems
  • Prepare risk assessments and method statements
  • Work within permit-to-work systems and safe procedures
  • Support and oversee subcontractors where required

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in electrical maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of BS7671
  • Experience in commercial or multi-site environments
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
