Multi-Skilled Engineer

Location: Burnley Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm Salary: Competitive + Overtime + Excellent Benefits

We're recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a leading facilities management company, working across a prestigious commercial site in Burnley.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an electrically or mechanically biased engineer looking to move into a stable, Monday to Friday role with no regular shift work, excellent benefits, and genuine opportunities for career progression.

The Role

As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you'll be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and fault finding across a range of building services and plant equipment.

You'll help ensure the site remains fully operational while delivering a high standard of service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance
  • Electrical and mechanical fault finding
  • Maintaining HVAC, lighting, pumps, motors, and general building services
  • Completing maintenance records using a CAFM system
  • Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations
  • Liaising with the client and subcontractors when required

Requirements

  • Experience in commercial building maintenance or facilities management
  • Electrical or mechanical qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent)
  • Multi-skilled maintenance experience
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and customer service skills
