We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our team at a prestigious site in Canary Wharf, London .
This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong engineer looking to work within one of Londons key business districts, carrying out a varied range of hard FM duties across a complex and high-profile environment.
What will you deliver? As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will be responsible for the safe and effective operation, maintenance and repair of critical building services.
Your responsibilities will include:
Maintaining, operating and repairing HVAC, electrical and mechanical systems
Supporting fire safety and water treatment systems
Completing planned preventative maintenance ( PPM ) and reactive works
Ensuring all works are completed within agreed SLAs and compliance requirements
Carrying out fault finding and technical problem solving
Completing risk assessments, permits to work and compliance documentation
Working closely with customers, colleagues and subcontractors
Using CAFM systems to manage and update tasks
Supporting technical quotations and chargeable works
Providing a professional and customer-focused service at all times
Working flexibly across different disciplines and supporting the wider engineering team when required
What are we looking for? The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience working as a Multi-Skilled Engineer / Building Services Engineer
A strong background in electrical and/or mechanical engineering
Experience within a commercial, critical or high-profile building environment
Good fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
Strong understanding of PPM and reactive maintenance
Good knowledge of health & safety and compliance procedures
Experience using CAFM systems; Planon knowledge would be advantageous
Excellent communication and customer service skills
A flexible, proactive can-do attitude
Willingness to work a complex day and night shift pattern
