Position
Part-Time Trainer (Beauty Therapist)
Reporting to: Studio Manager
Responsible for: Delivering facial workouts and first-class customer service
Location: Coal Drops Yard
Job Summary
The main function of this role is to carry out facial workouts and to drive exceptional customer service, sales and client retention within our Studios. The role is responsible for promoting FaceGym’s services and retail offerings and offering exceptional customer experience.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Deliver all workouts in line with FaceGym Workout protocols
- Sell the brand’s offerings, Workouts and homecare products within the Studio and front of house
- Demonstrate effective body language, rapport, and tailoring selling and customer service to different profiles to provide 5-star service
- Overcome selling challenges and create retail theatre to attract and engage clients, aligning with the client journey and brand story
- Maintain an exceptional customer experience at every touchpoint
- Meet retail and service targets and KPIs
- Keep workstations clean, presentable and stocked with required products and tools
- Maximize retail potential and client retention
- Operate point of sale systems, card machines and tills
- Build knowledge on skincare, products and workouts and share with clients
- Communicate effectively with the team, Studio Manager and FaceGym management
- Use learnings from each site to improve the client experience
- Keep up to date with skincare, products and treatments
- Adhere to Health & Safety guidelines for sterilization and storage of equipment
- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and grooming
- Represent the brand professionally at all times
- Establish strong working relationships with the team and management
- Be proficient with Zenoti booking system
- Excel in a customer self-serviced studio setting, owning the client journey from greeting and consultation through treatment, aftercare and checkout
Person Specification
- NVQ 3 Beauty Therapy qualification or equivalent
- Hands-on experience with customers
- Experience in beauty, retail and spa settings
- Proactive, with initiative and opportunity-seeking
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Team player with strong social skills
- Articulate and confident communicator
- Ability to stay calm and positive during busy days
- Ability to stand for 6-8 hours
- Fully flexible across weekdays and weekends
