My client is a leading facades contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality building envelope solutions across the UK. Due to continued growth and the award of multiple façade and re-cladding projects in Manchester, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of site operations on major façade schemes within a busy and growing region.
The Role
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of façade works on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. You will play a key role in coordinating site teams and driving programme performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing day-to-day site operations on façade and re-cladding projects
- Supervising subcontractors and ensuring works are carried out to specification
- Ensuring strict compliance with health & safety regulations
- Coordinating site activities in line with programme requirements
- Monitoring quality and ensuring high standards are maintained throughout
- Liaising with Project Managers, design teams, and clients
- Managing site logistics, materials, and labour
- Identifying and resolving issues on site efficiently
- Maintaining accurate site records and reporting progress
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within the façade/cladding sector
- Strong knowledge of façade systems, including:
- Rainscreen cladding
- Brickwork
- Insulated render systems
- General building envelope solutions
- Experience working on re-cladding or remediation projects is highly desirable
- SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Ability to drive programme and manage subcontractors effectively
