We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading Facades Contractor based in Erith, Kent. Our client is a well-established business operating across the residential and low-rise sectors, and they are looking to bring an Assistant Estimator into their growing commercial team.
The Role
You will work closely within a supportive team of Estimators, reporting directly to the Senior Estimator. This is a fully assisted role — you will be guided and developed every step of the way, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in estimating.
Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing drawings and project documentation
- Performing on-screen take-offs
- Sending out material and plant pricing requests internally
- Assisting with rate build-ups
- Supporting project handovers
- Attending site visits
- Carrying out initial contract reviews
Scope of Work
Projects span Screed, Dry Lining, and Render, primarily within the housing and low-rise residential sector.

- Some exposure to estimating or a construction-related background is beneficial, but full training and support will be provided
- Eager to learn, detail-oriented, and comfortable working as part of a team
- Good numeracy skills and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings
